Activities
The tour explores the concept of space as an active, dynamic place. Starting from the displayed artworks and their arrangement in the museum, the class will be encouraged to identify perimeters, proportions, distances and relationships between elements. The pupils will see how different works alter the environment and engage the viewer’s eyes and movements. Drawing inspiration from Fabro’s art, they will try using their own bodies as units of measurement for space!
During the workshop session, the pupils will work together on a large sheet of paper. Each child will create a personal space of their own, using lines and shapes made from a variety of materials. The final artwork will reveal a collective cosmos of intersecting spaces that interact or remain independent.
