Activities
During their tour of the exhibition, the children will explore Aki Sasamoto’s works of art in a way that feels like a scientific investigation and is as fun as a treasure hunt! They will look out especially for different types of lines and shapes within the works, encouraging curiosity, comparison, and an eye for detail.
During the workshop session, the class will create a visual map that connects geometric shapes with everyday objects. The activity will also introduce the concepts of scale and dimension: a single shape, such as a circle, might represent the Sun, a football, a clock face, or the head of a pin.
