Activities
Benni Bosetto (b. 1987, Merate; lives and works in Milan) transforms the Shed at Pirelli HangarBicocca into a space that recalls a domestic interior. Rooms, walls and surfaces seem to breathe and come alive. It is a constantly changing home of the imagination, suspending the linear rhythms of everyday life. The walls are entirely covered by Le cellule, a work of 2026: hundreds of hand-painted vertical strips of paper are layered one over another, creating the atmosphere of a richly detailed and decorative interior. The space feels both familiar and close, as well as open and welcoming.
During the workshop activity, the students will be encouraged to take inspiration from the exhibition and design their own special home, where each room becomes a page full of their memories, passions and dreams.
