Activities
This exhibition takes a close look at the concepts of measurement, perimeter and the relationship between body and space, considering the latter as a dynamic centre of action. Starting out from the installations, the students will reflect on how the eyes, movement and physical presence of others all help give meaning to a work of art, while reshaping our perception of our surroundings.
In the workshop session, each student will mark out their own personal space within a large collaborative surface. Working with marks, shapes and materials, they will build a cosmos-like configuration – an ideal place in which to explore the dynamics of proximity, overlapping, boundaries and relationships.
