Workshops for adults dedicated to the exhibition "Improvisation in 10 Days" by Tarek Atoui
On the occasion of Tarek Atoui's “Improvisation in 10 Days” exhibition, Pirelli HangarBicocca is offering special workshops for adults led by musician Davide Tedesco.
Davide Tedesco will accompany participants on a guided experience among the works in the exhibition by Tarek Atoui, who has created and enacted astonishing sound interactions in constant flux.
During the workshop, the audience will be able to explore the dimension of sounds and vibrations, experiencing different ways in which we perceive them and experiencing the constant interaction between us, the vibrating materials we can find in everyday life, musical instruments, the elements and the environment.
The workshops, dedicated to an adult audience, are free and by reservation only and will be held:
- Friday, May 16 from 6.30PM to 8PM
- Friday, June 27 from 6.30PM to 8PM
Davide Tedesco
Musician, music educator and music therapist who uses sound and music as resources capable of amplifying experiences of self-development, learning and well-being in cultural, school, training and therapeutic contexts. In order to create pathways for the expression and development of personal potential, he started My Music Skills©, a project that aims to act on the motor, emotional and cognitive dimensions of the individual, using musical intelligence and sound identity as means to achieve non-musical goals.
