Activities
Benni Bosetto (b. 1987, Merate; lives and works in Milan) uses drawing, sculpture, installation and performance to transform the Shed at Pirelli HangarBicocca into a living domestic landscape, where walls and rooms seem animated by hidden energy.
While going round the exhibition, the students will focus on the central role of drawing in Benni Bosetto’s work. She builds her environments from layers of pencil marks and ornamental patterns. Her attentive, almost meditative process opens up a reflection on the repetition and rhythm of patterns. The exhibition reveals how decorative motifs and recurring graphic elements generate both movement and meaning.

During the workshop activities with the art tutors, the students will take inspiration from her work to experiment with creating decorative and potentially architectural modules. They will connect the rules of symmetry with natural elements, graphic signs, abstract shapes, colours, and textures, guided by imagination and creativity.
