Nari Ward in conversation with Elvira Dyangani Ose

The Public Program of Pirelli HangarBicocca devoted to Nari Ward’s exhibition Ground Break presents, on Wednesday 10 April 2024 at 7 PM, an itinerant conversation inside the exhibition between the artist Nari Ward and Elvira Dyangani Ose, director of MACBA, Museu d’Art Contemporàni de Barcelona.

The conversation will take place in direct relation to the works, following the exhibition itinerary and tracing, through the observation of the works, some of the highlights and lesser-known moments of Nari Ward’s career. Some of the works on display, in fact, belong to the early period of Ward’s research and were exhibited here for the first time after their creation or rearranged in a site-specific way for the space, or made specifically for the exhibition.

The public will listen to the conversation through headphones, while moving freely around the exhibition space.
The conversation will be held in English, simultaneous translation is provided.
Admission to the event is free. Places are limited and booking is recommended.
