Social Sound presents OrchestraZ4 - Social Sound Project | Sound activation.

For the past four years, a project of social inclusion through music and the arts has been active: it is called Social Sound and involves people of all ages and backgrounds.
The main activity is OrchestraZ4, an open ensemble music workshop for young people aged 11 to 16.
OrchestraZ4 now includes around 30 participants, with young people coming from across Milan’s Zone 4 and surrounding areas.
OZ4 is a safe and inclusive space, a place for relationships, growth, commitment, and lightness. The program takes place every Friday at the brand-new Auditorium of the Morosini Manara School in Milan.

The event takes place on Rirkrit Tiravanija’s installation untitled 2026 (demo station no. 9). The stage-like structure invites people to “demonstrate” something. The combination of the words demo and station in the work’s title refers respectively to the abbreviation of demonstration—understood both as a protest and as a presentation of someone’s talent or hobby —and to station, that is, an accessible place where such “demonstrations” can occur. For the duration of the exhibition, the installation provides a space for daily public activations.
