demo station: CPM – VerSus Duo

CPM presents VerSus Duo.

VerSus are a duo from Pavia, Italy, consisting of Andrea Vercesi (acoustic guitar, lead vocals, and backing vocals) and Susanna Lecce (lead vocals and backing vocals). Their repertoire spans from the 1960s to the present day, reinterpreted through an acoustic lens.
The energy of Verce’s acoustic guitars—handcrafted by himself under the AV Handmade Guitars brand—combined with Susi’s powerful vocals creates a unique blend that draws listeners deep into rich acoustic soundscapes. Their performances feature intense acoustic renditions of international hits, with an extensive repertoire ranging from pop and rock to blues, soul, and folk.

The event takes place on Rirkrit Tiravanija’s installation untitled 2026 (demo station no. 9). The stage-like structure invites people to “demonstrate” something. The combination of the words demo and station in the work’s title refers respectively to the abbreviation of demonstration—understood both as a protest and as a presentation of someone’s talent or hobby —and to station, that is, an accessible place where such “demonstrations” can occur. For the duration of the exhibition, the installation provides a space for daily public activations.
