demo station: Ca’ CreAzioni – Modern embroidery workshop: between slow gestures and sustainability
Workshop
Ca' CreAzioni presents "Modern embroidery workshop: between slow gestures and sustainability".
A welcoming and relaxed workshop, where embroidery becomes a space for well-being and focus. Suitable for those who have never embroidered as well as for those who already have experience and want to share time with others. Participants will be guided in discovering a few basic stitches, which they will then apply to a tote bag they can take home. An experience to learn a technique that helps you care for and develop a deeper love for your own garments.

The event takes place on Rirkrit Tiravanija’s installation untitled 2026 (demo station no. 9). The stage-like structure invites people to “demonstrate” something. The combination of the words demo and station in the work’s title refers respectively to the abbreviation of demonstration—understood both as a protest and as a presentation of someone’s talent or hobby —and to station, that is, an accessible place where such “demonstrations” can occur. For the duration of the exhibition, the installation provides a space for daily public activations.
During the exhibition, photographs and video recordings may be made in which you could be recognizable. By attending, you consent to these recordings being used to communicate the exhibition.
Admission is free on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
