Atirteatroringhiera presents KOLLETTIVO DRAG KING | KORPUS STUDIO #2.

Between play and irreverence, the Drag King Collective investigates gender and self-exploitation in the performance-driven society. When play turns into competition, sport becomes fanaticism and the body a corpus of performance. The boundary between individual and society grows thinner: the body becomes a cultural emblem. In the work Untitled 2026 (demo station n°9) by R. Tiravanija (Pirelli HangarBicocca), the spiral welcomes the Drag Kings into a flow of actions and narratives, blending them with the audience without boundaries, and asking: where are we going?

The event takes place on Rirkrit Tiravanija’s installation untitled 2026 (demo station no. 9). The stage-like structure invites people to “demonstrate” something. The combination of the words demo and station in the work’s title refers respectively to the abbreviation of demonstration—understood both as a protest and as a presentation of someone’s talent or hobby —and to station, that is, an accessible place where such “demonstrations” can occur. For the duration of the exhibition, the installation provides a space for daily public activations.
