Associazione culturale MICambio presents CROSSING THE WORLD THROUGH SONG. WITH MUSICAMONDI CHOIR OF MICAMBIO ASSOCIATION.

The MICambio Association, a cultural organization active in the San Siro neighborhood with musical and artistic initiatives, and a promoter of community engagement at both neighborhood and city level, is pleased to take part in the event with one of its projects, the MusicaMondi choir.
A permanent neighborhood choir, with over 40 members led by maestro Mauro Penacca.
Two musical performances by the choir will embrace the space and the artwork Untitled 2026 (demo station n.9), 2026 by Rirkrit Tiravanija, presenting an international repertoire ranging from folk songs to singer-songwriter pieces.
A sung journey that creates new maps, blending stories, chants, and songs, offering them to the audience, who will inevitably be carried along those routes, traveling around the world.
First performance: 6:00 PM –6:30 PM
Second performance: 7:00 PM – 7:30 PM

The event takes place on Rirkrit Tiravanija’s installation untitled 2026 (demo station no. 9). The stage-like structure invites people to “demonstrate” something. The combination of the words demo and station in the work’s title refers respectively to the abbreviation of demonstration—understood both as a protest and as a presentation of someone’s talent or hobby —and to station, that is, an accessible place where such “demonstrations” can occur. For the duration of the exhibition, the installation provides a space for daily public activations.
