Dieter Roth, Björn Roth: Islands

Curated by Vicente Todolí, the exhibition “Islands” (Pirelli HangarBicocca, 06.11.2013-09.02.2014) included about a hundred pieces ranging from historic works by Dieter Roth to installations made with his son Björn, along with two new projects that the latter created with Oddur and Einar Roth, Dieter’s grandsons. The book presents essays by Vicente Todolí, Dieter and Björn Roth, Edith Jud, Gabriele Knapstein, Hansjörg Mayer, Fionn Meade, and Sarah Suzuki, as well as extensive behind-the-scenes photos that illustrate the making of the exhibition and a series of entries on the works.
