Then have fun experimenting with the combination of different percussion instruments and motorized and vibrating objects. Invent with imagination new musical instruments to create unexpected and surprising sounds to experience with your whole body. 

A Mural of Words (8-12 years)

On the walls of the Cube of Pirelli HangarBicocca, the artist eL Seed has created a mural that looks like a large, brightly colored abstract drawing. Join the activity to learn about the world of calligraphy, the techniques and history of the work, and then have fun in experimenting something new.

Drops and Bubbles – The Rain (7-9 years old)

To answer these and many other questions, come and discover the exhibition of Tarek Atoui whose works explore the world of vibrations and sounds. Together with Pirelli HangarBicocca’s Arts Tutors, have fun experimenting with underwater microphones, natural materials, and many different objects to create unexpected and fun soundscapes with bubbles and drops of all kinds!

FAMILY LAB | Our Great Big Multi-material Picture (4-7 years old)

Anselm Kiefer has put up five large canvases around his Seven Heavenly Palaces. What did he make them with? Adults and children will find out, together with the arts tutors, and then create a great big family picture with seeds, coloured sands and lots of other materials.
