Philippe Parreno. H {N)Y P N(Y} OSIS Hypothesis

This book grew out of a collaboration between the Park Avenue Armory and Pirelli HangarBicocca for the exhibitions “H {N)Y P N(Y} OSIS” (curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Alex Poots, with Tom Eccles, 2015) and “Hypothesis” (curated by Andrea Lissoni, 2015). It offers an in-depth analysis of Parreno’s work, presenting essays by Cyril Béghin, Molly Nesbit, Brian O’Doherty, and Adam Thirlwell, and two interviews with the artist by Obrist and Lissoni. An appendix to the book also includes detailed entries on all the works in the two exhibitions.
