Giorgio Andreotta Calò in conversation with Barbara Casavecchia

In a conversation with the critic and curator Barbara Casavecchia, Giorgio Andreotta Calò uses archive documents, images, and notes to retrace the journey and research that led to the creation of the “CITTÀDIMILANO” exhibition.
For Andreotta Calò, the production process is key to understanding the complexity and stratification of meanings in his works: the traces thus become both those that the artist leaves on his works and all those that are not visible but that constitute an important moment in the creative work, which the artist shares with the public in the form of a story.
Traces of Navigation is a conversation about the exhibition, but also a reflection that uses the metaphor of navigation to convey an original and personal look at the art of Giorgio Andreotta Calò.
