Céline Condorelli

Céline Condorelli’s art is greatly influenced by Lilly Reich, a German designer who worked for over ten years with the modernist architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, and who was the only woman to hold a teaching post at the Bauhaus, which was set up in Weimar (Germany) in 1919. A brief digression into the history of the Bauhaus, which featured prominently in the debate about the relationship between art, crafts and architecture during the twentieth century, and a close look at Lilly Reich.
