ART on Sundays is back with a new series of meetings on the history of art, this time looking at the “Casino” exhibition by Damián Ortega and Anselm Kiefer’s “The Seven Heavenly Palaces” permanent installation.

The Friday Workshops are based on an idea by Gabriel Orozco who, from 1987 to 1992, used to gather together a group of young artists in his studio in Mexico City to discuss and debate about contemporary art in their country. Those present included Damián Ortega, Gabriel Kuri, Abraham Cruzvillegas and Dr Lakra. An investigation that explores the birth and development of contemporary art in Mexico.
