Music, Makers & Machines

With the story dedicated to the installation unidisplay by Carsten Nicolai exhibited in 2012, Pirelli HangarBicocca takes part in “Music, Makers & Machines”, a virtual exhibition by Google Arts & Culture dedicated to the history of electronic music. The installation—which was approximately 50 meters long—was based on a series of modules that engaged with each other, interfering with the visitor’s perception through visual games such as optical illusions, flicker effects, imperceptible movements and the complementariness of colors.
