\n\t\t\tSchool Program\t<\/h1>\n\t

School is a program of courses specially created by the Educational Department of Pirelli HangarBicocca: it couples the more traditional approach of art education with methods inspired by the principles of education through art.<\/em><\/h2>\n\t

Pirelli HangarBicocca’s exhibition spaces\u00a0reopen Thursday 18 September<\/strong>\u00a0for Yuko Mohri’s exhibition.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Project\t<\/h2>\n\tThe School program for school of all types and grades is designed to promote those artistic forms of contemporary art that may concern and involve subjects that apparently have little to do with art.
\nThe project has been created for\u00a0all teachers<\/strong>, allowing them to play a key role in helping to interpret works of art as they relate to their own teaching disciplines and to contemporary issues. Special two-hour visits are designed for the permanent installation and for each temporary exhibition at Pirelli\u00a0HangarBicocca. They consist of two parts: one of observation of the work and one of workshop experimentation.\n

\n\t\t\tThematic Activities\t<\/h2>\n\tA recent feature\u00a0is the\u00a0“<\/strong>Thematic Activities”<\/strong>\u00a0format for\u00a0middle and second-grade secondary schools<\/strong>, which does not include the workshop activity.
\nArts Tutors accompany visiting school classes to help them experience the works of art as educational instruments. This can help children get to grips with a variety of subjects taught back at school by their teachers. For all the tours in the School program, thematic areas<\/strong>\u00a0have been chosen to help decide on the visit best suited to individual classes.\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u2192<\/b> Kindergarten\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u2192<\/b> Primary School\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u2192<\/b> Middle School\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\u2192<\/b> High School\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n

Dates and times<\/strong>
Thursday and Friday from 9 AM to 11 AM and from 11.30 AM to 1.30 PM.
On request also on Thursdays and Fridays afternoons and Saturdays mornings (times to be agreed upon)<\/p>\n

Booking arrangements<\/strong>
A maximum of two classes (about 27 kids per class) can book for any one time slot.
It is essential to book by e-mail. Bookings are effective when confirmation by e-mail has been received from the educational staff.<\/p>\n

Costs<\/strong>
For all School actvities there is a fee per student according to the following rates (excluding teachers and chaperones)<\/p>\n

– Visit with activity (in laboratory or inside the exhibition): 6\u20ac per student
– Thematic activities: 6\u20ac per student
– Guided tour (90 minutes): 5\u20ac per student
– Guided tour (60 minutes): 4\u20ac per student<\/p>\n
