Educational goals and activities

After exploring the exhibition, the children will use visual support materials to help them recognise the links and parallels between the artist’s decision to combine a medium such as video, which is make up of pixels, with elements of the earth, in the form of grains of sand, and they will learn how geometry and mathematics are closely connected to the natural world.
In the workshop session, the children will then be invited to create an abstract landscape of their own using natural elements with geometric shapes.
